Real vs. Steal: Stone Cold Fox

Thursday, March 20, 2014

Ok....

I am so frickin' excited about this Real vs Steal that I found..... dying over here!

I LOVE the brand Stone Cold Fox but the price is a bit too up there for me. So sadly, instead of buying all the amazing pieces they have, I have to sit here and drool over them on a computer screen.

Boo, right!? Yea, I thought so too until I found a top that looks identical to the hot number from Stone Cold Fox..... from Windsor and for a much easier price.

Look like a stone cold fox but pocket that extra cash, sound good!? I think so!

Total babe top, am I right!?

Spring Training

Wednesday, March 19, 2014

This past weekend, we drove out to AZ for a little family spring training weekend. A whole weekend of baseball.... which was actually really fun! I was worried it was going to be too much baseball, game after game, but it wasn't! We went to 3 different games, spaced out one on each day. It was great and the weather was ridiculous! Hot and sun shin gin the whole time, I was in heaven.

Day 1, Game 1.... the whole group.
(Yes, we are on our toes.... its a whole thing that happens with the boys and my father-in-law every time a picture is taken, long story)

Top: H&M // Shorts: O'neill // Hat:Forever 21

Top:  Irene's Story // Bralette: Forever 21 // Hat:Forever 21 // Bag: H&M // Sandals: Jeffrey Campbell

Shorts: BCBGeneration // Top: H&M

Real vs. Steal: Gladiator Sandal

Tuesday, March 11, 2014

Ok people, are you loving the gladiator sandal trend that's happening right now!? YES please! I'm so glad that I held onto the tan gladiators that I bought a few years ago, Jeffery Campbell's... so cute!

But back to these babies.... I fell in love with these Stuart Weitzman sandals when I first saw them, you could say love at first sight. Ugh, then I saw the price..... Damn, of course they would be almost $400 (sad face).

Oh but don't you worry! If $400 isn't your thing, I found pretty much the same exact beauties but for much much less from Alloy.... Try $49.50 on for size, feel better!? Yea, I think so too :)

Picture Wall

Monday, March 10, 2014

Hey there!

Tonight's post is a peak into my new guest room design.... as you can probably tell by now, I LOVE to decorate and re-decorate my house.... like, its a problem! :)

I decided to re-do the guest room in a super neutral color palette with a whole wall of pictures. The colors? Black, gold and white white white! I reused some frames that we did for our wedding that were painted gold and then found other cheap frames at Ikea... I used all different sizes and then painted all of them in the 3 colors. Then I gathered a bunch of pictures, some from the Internet that struck me, some I handmade, and a few detail shots from my wedding. After placing all the art in the frames, it was just a puzzle, figuring out where each pic should go. I used a large round art piece that my grandma gave me (how AH-MAZE is this piece!? I die...) as the centerpiece and filled in the others around it.

And that's it.... TA-DA, brand new room!

What do you guys think!?

The Oscars: Fashion Winners

Monday, March 3, 2014

The 86th annual Academy Awards.... The biggest night in Hollywood!

I couldn't wait to see who brought home the big awards of the night, but more importantly, who would take home BEST DRESSED. And this years red carpet did not disappoint.

Here are my top dressed ladies of the evening:

Excuse me while I pick my jaw up off the floor.... Kate Hudson was the clear winner for me in her stunning Atelier Versace gown.
The plunging neck and draped back gave her old Hollywood glam look a modern twist of gorgeous!

Jennifer Lawrence was a close second for me, wowing in her Dior Couture red gown. And that backwards $2 million Neil Lane necklace?!.... to die! I just can't get enough of it, this girl was definitely ON FIRE!

Sandra Bullock stunned in this Alexander McQueen dress.
Polished and sophisticated!

The "12 Years a Slave" actress, Lupita Nyong'o, turned heads in her Prada gown.
The plunging neck and color made this look a standout for sure!

I LOVED Jennifer Garner's fringe look from Oscar de la Renta
Fun but still oh-so glam!

Who were your favs? Any clear fashion fails?
