Un-sloppy "Wannabe's"

Saturday, February 16, 2013

This recipe is a twist on a family favorite passed down to me from my wonderful mother-in-law called "HamBURGHER Wannabe's".
I took the original recipe and changed it up by using sloppy joe mix.
They were easy and delicious!

Ingredients:

  • Grands Flaky layers biscuits
  • 1lb ground beef
  • 1 packet of sloppy joe mix
  • 1 can (6 oz) tomato paste
  • 1 1/4 cups water
Brown ground beef. Drain (if desired)
Stir in tomato paste, water and seasoning packet.
Bring to boil.
Reduce heat and simmer uncovered for 10 minutes.

Flatten biscuits and place on a baking sheet.

Spoon sloppy joe meat mixture onto the flattened biscuits.

Fold biscuit over meat mixture and press edges together with a folk to seal.

Bake at 350 for 14-17 minutes or until golden brown.

Its as easy as that!
ENJOY!!

K
